Vitellius, 69. Aureus (Gold, 19 mm, 7.42 g, 6 h), uncertain mint in Spain (Tarraco?), January-June 69. A VITELLIVS IMP GERMAN Laureate head of Vitellius to left, with globe at point of bust; in front, small palm frond. Rev. VICTORIA AVGVSTI Victory advancing left, holding shield inscribed S P / Q R in two lines with her right hand. BMC 91 note. Calicó 576a. CBN 12 corr. (palm frond not described). Cohen -, cf. 95.
